Facilitation can assist groups in a variety of ways:

  • Clarifying and accomplishing critical objectives and deliverables
  • Achieving exceptional performance
  • Solving complex problems
  • Making high quality decisions
  • Reaching consensus
  • Collaborating and improving the effectiveness of the team
  • Enhance learning and skill building using the strengths and knowledge of the group
  • Helping teams move through conflict

Effective facilitation requires a very deliberate and cultivated skill set, and SRC consultants are highly trained and experienced in all facets of working with teams to accomplish the goals of the group.

Our facilitators have expertise in:

  • Gathering data
  • Identifying critical issues
  • Setting ground rules
  • Monitoring and managing participation and communication of group members
  • Creating safe environments for open and honest participation
  • Surfacing common themes and issues
  • Eliciting sustainable agreements with awareness and sensitivity to political and organizational realities

We consult with leaders to move teams to collaborative, cooperative, high functioning units. We assess, through interviews of team members, issues that show up as conflicts around goals, data, structure, process, values and interpersonal misunderstandings. A very trusting but task focused environment is created to allow team members to air issues without getting bogged down in them. Through a facilitated group process, agreements to new behaviors and processes are reached, freeing group members to focus on team goals and objectives with a renewed sense of commitment and vision.
